Axis Bank Statement PDF Password: Unlock Guide (2026)
Locked out of your Axis Bank PDF statement? Learn the default password formats for savings, corporate, and credit card accounts. Quick unlock guide.
Who is this for: Banking Automation
Axis Bank, like other major Indian commercial banking institutions, protects all monthly statements sent via email with password encryption. This prevents unauthorized access to your account balances and transaction data. If you are preparing your books for tax audit or importing transactions into Tally Prime, you will need the correct password format to open and unlock the statement.
Axis Bank Savings / Current Account PDF Password
For standard retail bank statements delivered via email, Axis Bank uses a standard combination of your name and birth date:
Default Password Combination:
First 4 Letters of First Name (CAPITAL) + Date of Birth (DDMM)
Note: Do not use spaces, special characters, or the year of birth. If your name has fewer than 4 letters, use your entire first name followed by the DDMM.
Examples:
- Example 1: If your name is Amit Kumar and your Date of Birth is 15th August 1992, the password is
AMIT1508. - Example 2: If your name is Joy Sen and your Date of Birth is 3rd January 1985, the password is
JOY0301. - Example 3: If your name is R. K. Sharma and your Date of Birth is 21st December 1978, the password is
RKSH2112(using the first 4 alphabetic characters).
Axis Bank Credit Card Statement PDF Password
For Axis Bank credit cards, the statement password format is slightly different. The default password uses a combination of your name and the card itself:
Credit Card Password Combination:
First 4 Letters of Name (CAPITAL) + Last 4 Digits of your Credit Card Number
Example: If your name is Rahul Verma and your credit card ends in 9876, the password is RAHU9876.
Corporate Accounts & Other Formats
For Axis Bank Corporate accounts, statements may require either:
- Your Corporate ID (found on the net banking portal).
- A custom password configured in your business profile on the Axis Corporate Banking page.
How to Remove the Password Permanently
To import your Axis statement into accounting workflows without typing the password every time, you can strip the password:
- Open the PDF in Google Chrome.
- Enter your password (e.g.
AMIT1508). - Press Ctrl+P (or Cmd+P on Mac).
- Change the printer destination to Save as PDF.
- Save the file. The new PDF will open without any password.
