Where to Find Your Customer ID

Your 8-digit HDFC Customer ID is printed on the front page of your passbook, on your HDFC welcome kit letter, or on any physical statement mailed to you. You can also find it by logging into NetBanking — it appears at the top-right corner after login.

If your credit card password is not working, check the following:

1. Use exactly 4 letters of your first name as it appears on the card — not your full name or nickname.
2. Letters must be in CAPITALS. If your name is "Raj" (only 3 letters), the first 3 letters in caps are used: RAJ.
3. DOB format is DDMM — two digits for day and two digits for month. For 5th March, use 0503.
4. If your name starts with initials (e.g. "K. Suresh"), use the first letter of the initial and the next 3 of the last name: KSUR.
