Why is the connector needed?

The connector bridges TrulyInvoice and the local Tally environment so approved invoice data can be synced into Tally after review.

Do I still need to review invoice data?

Yes. TrulyInvoice is designed as a review-first workflow. Review is especially important for low-quality scans, handwritten invoices, or unusual layouts.

What if my company is not showing in the dashboard?

Make sure Tally is running, the correct company is loaded, the connector is active, and the local connectivity settings are configured correctly.

Download & Install Connector 💾

Download the connector executable on the Windows PC where Tally Prime is running
Run the installer and sign in with your TrulyInvoice credentials
The connector runs quietly in the system tray and bridges Tally on Port 9000

Enable Tally Port 9000 ⚙️

Open Tally Prime and press F1 (Help)
Navigate to Settings > Connectivity
Click on value exists
Configure the settings as shown below:

Phase 2

Daily Invoice Sync Workflow

Daily 3-Step Process:

Upload: Go to Dashboard and upload any supplier invoice (PDF, photo, or scan).
Review: TrulyInvoice AI auto-extracts party name, GSTIN, line items, rates, and tax. Review or adjust if necessary.
Sync: Click "Sync to Tally" — the purchase voucher is created directly in Tally Prime in under 15 seconds.

Troubleshooting 🔧

Company not showing in dropdown?

•Check that Tally is running with the correct company loaded
•Check that the connector is running on the relevant machine
•Refresh the dashboard after the connector and Tally are both active

Connector won't login?

•Use the same email and password as your TrulyInvoice account
•Check the internet connection on the machine running the connector
•Restart the connector and try again
